Freestyle-oriented Big Mountain Twin Tip
The Shiloh is a performance-oriented big mountain twin for versatile use throughout the ski area. For the graphics, Arbor has once again teamed up with Aaron James Draplin, a well-known artist and designer in the snowboard world, who is known for his simplified style with broad and clear lines.
The Shiloh offers plenty of pop and stability in jumps and landings and is easy to control in any terrain. The board is available in both system camber and system rocker profiles.
This version comes with a camber profile for a more stable, aggressive feel and more pop.
Riding style
A big mountain twin tip freestyle snowboard for advanced riders. This board comes with all the features you need as an ambitious freestyle rider. The camber profile makes the board stable, precise and offers a lot of pop. It was designed for the whole mountain and doesn’t allow itself to be pushed into any corner.
Shape
The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden forward or switch. Arbor’s Grip Tech provides good edge control on hard snow and ice by slightly extending the edges outwards underfoot.
Profile
The camber profile consists of only a single positive camber from nose to tail. This classic profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop. Â
Flex
The medium/soft flex is playful and forgiving. While still providing enough stability for a controlled riding experience.
Construction
The Double Barrel II core offers a progressive 1:2 poplar and paulownia blend with
Bamboo stringers that provide additional torsional behaviour and improved board control along the rails of the board. Biax fibreglass offers a freestyle-friendly, minimal torsional flex and a forgiving feel. The 360° rails enclose the board completely and thus increase the stability of the board. The material for the steel edges is also recycled. The Bio Plastic Topsheet is made from castor seed oil and is extremely durable. The sintered base is durable and, with proper care, insanely fast.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Â
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
